Blessings to you all! My name is Roxy, and Iโm a Christian content creator. I pour my heart and soul into creating content that shares the true Word of GOD. Whether itโs through short videos, devotionals, scripture breakdowns, or encouraging messages, I try to make sure everything I do reflects my love for Christ and my desire to help others walk with Him. That said, Iโll be honest โ itโs been really hard.
Lately, Iโve been feeling a bit discouraged. As someone who genuinely wants to spread the Gospel and make a difference, I find it disheartening to see how little recognition smaller Christian creators often get. It seems like the larger platforms and influencers always get pushed to the front โ even when some of their content may not always be rooted deeply in Scripture or focused on the truth of Godโs Word. Meanwhile, those of us who are really trying to stay faithful, who take the time to pray, study, and carefully create meaningful content, often feel overlooked.
Now, I know itโs not supposed to be about popularity. I know we are doing this for the Kingdom and not for the applause of people. I constantly remind myself of Colossians 3:23 โ โWhatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.โ But at the same time, I think thereโs nothing wrong with hoping for growth so more people can actually see and be blessed by the work weโre doing. I just want to be honest about how it feels when you work so hard for the Lord, and yet the reach stays small while others seem to soar โ especially when your heart is in the right place.
So hereโs my question:
Has anyone else experienced this? And if so, do you have any advice on how to grow your audience or stay encouraged when it feels like your work is being overlooked?
I donโt want to get bitter or discouraged. I want to continue doing what God called me to do, but Iโm just looking for guidance โ spiritually and practically. How do you stay focused on the mission when the results donโt seem to match the effort? How do you break through the noise of social media algorithms and find your people โ the ones who are hungry for the truth and looking for what God has placed in you? If youโve been there or are currently there, Iโd really love to hear your thoughts. Letโs encourage one another as brothers and sisters in Christ doing Kingdom work. Thank you and God bless every one of you faithfully showing up to be a light. ๐
