Right now, we are living in a time where prophecy is unfolding before our eyes. Many of us have seen the rise of platforms like Fanbase, which claim to offer a place for voices—especially minorities and creators—to be heard without censorship. People are looking for new spaces because major social media platforms are shutting down voices, silencing truth, and making it hard for individuals to share freely. On the surface, this seems like a good thing: a place where everyone can shine. But the deeper question we must ask is this—what does God have to say about it?
We have been told time and time again that God would allow chaos to come, and part of that chaos is the battle for information. The Bible warns us in Amos 8:11: “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord.” This prophecy speaks directly to what we see today. The enemy is working overtime to keep truth from reaching the people. When media outlets censor, when platforms restrict, when billion-dollar corporations control speech, what we are truly witnessing is a spiritual famine—the withholding of God’s truth from the people.
We cannot ignore that governments and powerful corporations are behind much of this. Ephesians 6:12 tells us: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” This is not simply about politics or media policy. This is about dark forces that want to keep people in blindness and sin. They do not want the truth of Jesus Christ to be spoken. They do not want repentance preached. They do not want people to know that the Kingdom of God is at hand.
And so, while Fanbase and other platforms rise up, promising free speech and payments to creators, the question is: will they succeed? Prophecy shows us that kingdoms not built on God’s foundation will not last. Matthew 7:26–27 says: “And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” Billionaire companies, social media empires, media networks—all of them are houses built on sand if they do not stand on the Word of God. They will crash, and many are already beginning to crumble.

This is why the people of God must stay awake. You must remain prayed up, with your Bible open, your heart ready, and your ears tuned to God’s voice. When censorship comes—and it has already begun—you cannot rely on the internet to feed you truth. You must know the Word of God for yourself. Psalm 119:11 says: “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” This means that no matter what the media does, no matter how much censorship spreads, no matter if your favorite platform shuts down tomorrow, you will still have access to God’s truth because it lives in your heart.
This is also a call for repentance. Prophecy is not just a warning about media censorship or government corruption—it is a warning about the state of the soul. God is calling people to repent, to turn from wickedness, and to follow Him fully. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” Healing begins with repentance.
Do not be fooled. These platforms, whether Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, or Fanbase, are not your saviors. They are tools—tools that God may allow for a time, but they are not eternal. The only Kingdom that will remain forever is the Kingdom of God. Daniel 2:44 tells us: “And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.”
So, yes, prophecy is playing out. Media censorship is real. Platforms will rise and fall. Governments will try to silence truth. But at the end of the day, God is still on the throne. The true gospel will not be stopped. Prophets are rising up in this hour to speak, to warn, to declare, and to call for repentance. The enemy wants to silence them, but God’s Word will always go forth.
As people of faith, we must be ready. Keep reading your Bible. Keep praying. Keep trusting in Jesus Christ. Do not be distracted by the glitter of new platforms or the chaos of censorship. Know that the true battle is spiritual. And remember the words of Jesus in John 14:6: “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
The time is short. The Kingdom of God is at hand. Wake up, repent, and be ready.
