President Donald Trump’s recent words about imposing fresh energy sanctions on Russia if—and only if—all NATO nations agree, ring louder than just political talk. His statement may very well be a warning, a prophecy echoing through history: America’s greatest test will come not from one enemy, but from two rising powers—Russia and China—uniting against us.
The Seed of the Prophecy
Trump wrote: “I am ready to do major sanctions on Russia when all NATO nations have agreed, and started, to do the same thing, and when all NATO nations stop buying oil from Russia.” On the surface, this sounds like a firm stance, a line in the sand. But beneath it lies something far more troubling: if the West truly cuts Russia off, Russia will have no choice but to turn fully to China.
That alliance, once sealed, will not simply be economic. It will be military, cultural, and spiritual. And it will be aimed squarely at America.
The Vision of the East
History has always shown that great empires fall not by the sword of one foe, but by the combined weight of alliances. Rome was surrounded, weakened by multiple enemies striking at once. So too could America face its own fall, not from within first, but by being encircled by foreign powers.
China has long prepared for dominance, building its economy into the second largest in the world, investing in cutting-edge technology, and strengthening its military with sheer manpower. Russia, though weakened by sanctions and war, still holds nuclear weapons, oil reserves, and a hardened sense of survival. When desperation meets ambition, prophecy tells us that an unholy partnership will form.
If China and Russia fully join forces, it will not just be an alliance—it will be a storm. Together, they hold vast land, resources, manpower, and a common goal: to see America weakened, humbled, and perhaps even destroyed.
The Coming Scarcity
The prophecy also speaks of resources being stripped away. Imagine a future where Russian oil no longer flows west, but only east, fueling China’s endless appetite for growth. Imagine rare earth minerals, oil, gas, and wheat being locked away from American access. Suddenly, our shelves empty, our gas prices surge, our industries collapse under shortages.
Prophets of old often warned that famine and scarcity would mark the beginning of judgment. If China and Russia control the world’s supply chains, and America stands isolated, then the abundance we take for granted could vanish overnight. No food, no fuel, no lifeline.
The Power of Numbers
One must also consider the sheer manpower. America, with its 330 million citizens, is dwarfed by China’s 1.4 billion. Add in Russia’s population, its hardened fighters, and its willingness to endure suffering, and suddenly America’s advantage crumbles. Wars are not fought only with machines—they are fought with men, with endurance, with sacrifice.
This is why the prophecy is chilling: too much manpower for us to stop them. While America debates, distracts, and divides itself over politics and social issues, the East prepares with unity of purpose.
The Warning for America
This prophetic vision is not meant to stir fear, but to stir awakening. Trump’s post may have been political, but its undertone is spiritual. The Lord often uses the words of leaders—even those who may not realize it—to warn nations of what is coming.
The writing is clear: America must repent, turn back to God, and prepare for the shaking that is coming. For no military, no sanction, and no alliance will be enough if God is not with us.
The prophecy tells us that when the East joins hands, America’s strength will falter. But it also tells us that nations who humble themselves before the Lord will find mercy.
The vision is plain. If NATO moves forward with cutting Russia off, Russia will cling to China. And together, they will rise. America must see this not only as a political threat but as a prophetic warning: when these two lions walk together, the eagle will struggle to fly.
All resources gone, all defenses tested, all alliances strained—this is the storm on the horizon. But even in prophecy, there is hope. The same God who allowed nations to rise and fall is still in control. The question is: will America hear the warning and prepare, or will we ignore it until it is too late?

The sad part is they’re able to do this because we have a government right now that don’t know what they’re doing. Anybody can say anything to the United States government and they’ll believe anything that other people tell them. It’s sad because they’re blinded by what is really truly going on. The goal is to make peace with your enemy so that you can take your enemy down at any chance you want. This is exactly what’s going to happen when it comes to China.
