I never thought Iโd be the type of woman to sit behind a screen and pour my heart out, but here I am. Iโm telling my story because Iโve carried the shame, the weight, the sickness, and the stress for far too long. Maybe someone can learn from my mistake, or maybe I just need to finally get it off my chest. Either way, this is my truth.
I was married. And like so many women, I felt unseen in my marriage. My husband wasnโt romantic, he didnโt make me feel cherished, and I started convincing myself that maybe I had made the wrong choice by marrying him. I wanted love, attention, and passion, and when I met another man, I let myself fall into temptation. I crossed a line. I hooked up with him, and eventually, I left my husband for this man, believing in my heart that I had finally found someone who would love me the way I always dreamed of being loved.
But let me tell you something: the grass is not greener on the other side. Sometimes, itโs rotten, poisonous, and full of snakes. The man I left my husband for ended up being a serial cheater. And I donโt mean just one or two slip-ups. I mean, this man was relentless. He had women all over the place.
