Alright, I’m gonna be real for a second — Rumble needs to fix this upload problem because it’s driving me insane. Every time I try to upload my backsplash image for my channel, the thing just spins and spins like it’s stuck in a loop. I’ve sat there watching that little loading circle until I could probably quote how many times it goes around per second. I’m not even exaggerating. I’ll try to upload a clean, simple image — not some massive file, not some crazy graphic — just a regular banner for my page, and Rumble acts like I’m trying to upload a whole movie.
So here’s what’s been happening: I go to my Rumble channel, hit the section where you upload your backsplash, and as soon as I click upload, the system freezes. Then, the little loading wheel starts going and it just… never stops. No error message, no warning, nothing. Just endless spinning. And you can’t do anything else while it’s doing that. So you end up having to close the whole tab, reopen it, and pray that it actually decides to cooperate the next day. Sometimes it does, most times it doesn’t.
Now, what’s wild is this didn’t start happening until they changed the layout and interface recently. Rumble made a bunch of updates, and while I get that updates are supposed to make things better, this one just feels like it broke something. The new layout looks cleaner, sure, but it feels like everything behind the scenes is moving slower. The site lags, pages freeze, and uploads fail more often than not. So now I’m wondering — did they test this update properly before rolling it out? Because it sure doesn’t feel like it.
Don’t get me wrong — I still like Rumble as a platform. The player is excellent, playback quality is solid, and I actually prefer their settings over YouTube’s. Rumble gives you a lot of control over how your content plays, and that’s something I really respect. But this upload issue is a big deal. For creators who take their pages seriously, a backsplash or profile photo isn’t just decoration — it’s branding. It’s the first thing people see. When the site won’t even let us upload something basic like that, it feels like we’re being blocked from representing our own work properly.
I’m not even sure if Rumble knows this glitch is happening, but if they don’t, somebody needs to tell them. Because creators shouldn’t have to wait a whole day or keep refreshing their browser just to make simple updates to their channels. That’s ridiculous.
So here’s my question — is anyone else having this issue? Or is it just me? Because if other folks are dealing with the same nonsense, then this is clearly a system-wide problem and not just a “me” thing. Rumble needs to fix this before it becomes one of those bugs that drives creators back to other platforms. I’m trying to stay loyal here, but man, patience has a limit.
Come on, Rumble — we love your platform, but get your uploads together.
