Another thing I noticed during Pearson scoring jobs is that a lot of the scorers spend more time sucking up to supervisors than actually being genuine people. I’m just being honest. It starts feeling less like a professional work environment and more like some weird popularity contest. 🙄

You will see people agreeing with every single thing supervisors say even when everybody clearly knows the directions are confusing or constantly changing. Instead of speaking up about problems that everybody is dealing with, some scorers act like everything is perfect just to stay on the supervisors’ good side.

What makes it annoying is that the people who actually ask real questions or point out inconsistencies end up being looked at like they are the problem. Meanwhile the people constantly praising supervisors in chats get treated differently. It creates this fake environment where nobody wants to be honest because they are too busy trying to impress leadership.

I understand being respectful and professional, but there is a difference between professionalism and obvious sucking up. Some people act like supervisors can do no wrong even when communication is unorganized and workers are frustrated.

At the end of the day, everybody is there to do a job and make money. It should not feel like people need to kiss up just to feel comfortable or noticed in the workplace. 😒
