Title: “Peace in the Midst of Pressure”

Scripture:
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”
— Isaiah 26:3 (NIV)

Devotion:
Life has a way of pressing in on all sides—deadlines, family responsibilities, financial concerns, health issues, and even the pressure we put on ourselves. But God offers us a different kind of life. One where peace isn’t determined by the absence of problems, but by the presence of His promises.

Isaiah reminds us that peace isn’t something we must chase—it’s something we receive when we fix our minds on God. The Hebrew phrase “perfect peace” here is actually shalom shalom, which emphasizes a complete, unshakable peace—whole, sound, and secure.

So how do we experience that kind of peace today?
By choosing trust over worry. When your mind starts to spiral, pause and redirect your thoughts to the One who never changes. Remind yourself of what God has already brought you through. That same faithful hand is holding you today.

Let your mind rest in His Word, His character, and His promises. That’s where true peace lives.

Prayer:
Lord, I thank You for the gift of peace that surpasses understanding. Help me today to keep my mind focused on You. When stress and anxiety try to overwhelm me, remind me that You are in control. I choose to trust You and rest in Your unshakable peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Take five minutes in silence today to meditate on Isaiah 26:3. Breathe deeply and invite God’s peace to settle over you.
