“Today I want to talk about doubt—and how it holds so many of us back. A lot of times, our doubt comes from a lifetime of trauma—times we were told we weren’t enough, or made to feel like nothing we do will ever work out. That voice of doubt? It’s not from God. God wants us to know that we are made for a purpose.
In Joshua 1:9, God tells us, ‘Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.’ That’s a reminder that He doesn’t want us living in fear or doubt. He wants us to trust Him, to step out, and to act—even if we’re unsure.
Think about it—how will you ever know something will work if you never try? If you start every project or step in life with doubt, you’ll never experience the blessing God has for you. And yes, mistakes will happen—but that’s the point. God can fix mistakes. He can guide, restore, and redirect us. But if doubt stops us before we even begin, we rob ourselves of His plan for our lives.
God wants us to know Him first, to trust Him fully, and to act with courage. Doubt has no place when you lean into His Word. Today, I want to encourage anyone listening—trust God, trust His timing, trust your purpose, and take that step. You are made for a reason, and God will meet you every step of the way.”
