I’ve got to be real with everyone here—I’m deeply concerned. When I read the news about Lil Nas X’s dad speaking up and saying that the pressures of the music industry led to his son’s recent breakdown and arrest, it shook me. This is something we’ve been talking about for years. We’ve seen it again and again: the music industry chewing people up, spitting them out, and leaving them broken in the process. It’s sad because so many talented people, many who grew up just like us, with big dreams and hopes, end up being crushed by the weight of fame and the traps set up in that system.

The truth is, this isn’t just about Lil Nas X. This is about the bigger picture. The industry glorifies things that we all know aren’t good for the soul. Fame, money, and attention look shiny on the outside, but the cost behind closed doors is heavy. Depression, addiction, broken families, legal troubles—these are the hidden battles that stars fight daily. It doesn’t surprise me that his father said, “We all have breakdowns every now and then.” That’s real. Every one of us, whether we’re famous or not, can hit that wall. But the difference is, when you’ve got the whole world watching, judging, and sometimes mocking, it makes the weight unbearable.
For me, what stands out most is how God has been warning us. I believe we’re living in a time where the enemy is using the entertainment world to pull people away from truth and peace. These artists often fall into traps because they’re surrounded by pressure, manipulation, and voices that push them in the wrong direction. That’s why I can’t just read about this situation and keep scrolling. I have to stop and remind myself, and remind all of you, that Jesus is the answer. It doesn’t matter how dark the path gets, He is still the light.
We need to keep Lil Nas X in prayer. I know some people will criticize, laugh, or say he “brought it on himself,” but that’s not our place. The Bible tells us to pray for each other, even when someone is lost in sin, because God’s mercy can reach them. If anything, this young man needs prayer more than ever. Pray that Jesus will touch his heart, clear his mind, and turn him away from the madness that the enemy has designed for him.
At the end of the day, this is a soul we’re talking about. Not just a headline, not just a celebrity—he’s a human being, a son, someone’s family. My hope is that this moment, as painful as it is, will be the turning point that brings him back to God.
Stay watchful, stay prayerful, and don’t forget—none of us are too far gone when we call on Jesus.

God is trying to show people. It’s fun at first but the damage later is not
This is why I get so sad when I see parents pushing their children into this industry. It seems innocent at first until their children are miserable and some even have lots their life. Very very sad… 😔
