The signs are all around us, but too many refuse to see. We place our trust in leaders, political parties, and government programs, but scripture has already told usโthe arm of flesh will fail you (2 Chronicles 32:8). The economy shakes like an unstable house built on sand, yet people still cling to the illusion that money will protect them. The truth is, we are living in prophetic times where both government and money are being exposed for what they truly are: powerless idols.
Government Canโt Save You
The Bible reminds us in Psalm 146:3, โPut not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.โ Nations rise and fall, kings rule and are dethroned, presidents come and goโbut none of them can deliver us from what God has declared. The systems of man are crumbling because they were never designed to hold eternity. Leaders promise stability, yet they canโt even secure peace within their own borders.

When judgment comes, government programs, military power, and political speeches wonโt shield anyone. Jeremiah 17:5 warns, โCursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.โ This is the hour where misplaced trust is being revealed.
The Worthlessness of Money
Prophecy makes it clear: the wealth of this world will be shaken. In Ezekiel 7:19 it says, โThey shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord.โ What greater warning do we need?
Inflation is already eroding the value of the dollar. Banks fail, markets collapse, and digital currencies riseโyet no matter the form, it cannot buy eternal security. Revelation 13 warns of a time when no one can buy or sell without the mark of the beast. That day will show beyond all doubt that our money is useless unless we submit to the very system that defies God.
People store up savings as if their wealth can guarantee survival, but Proverbs 11:4 reminds us, โRiches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.โ
Where We Are Right Now
Look at the state of the world. Nations drowning in debt. Families unable to afford food or housing. Corruption eating away at every level of leadership. These are not just random problemsโthey are signs of prophecy unfolding. Matthew 24 spoke of a time of distress and deception before the coming of the Son of Man.
Right now, governments scramble to print more money, to create policies that only delay collapse, but itโs a bandage on a mortal wound. We are entering the season where Godโs word, not manโs promises, is the only foundation that will stand.
The Real Question
The issue isnโt whether the government will fix things or whether the economy will recover. The real question is: where is your trust? Are you clinging to fading systems, or are you anchored in the eternal kingdom?
Jesus said in Matthew 6:19โ20, โLay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: but lay up for yourselves treasures in heavenโฆโ
If your treasure is in the stock market, in politics, in banks, in gold, or even in cash, it will fail you. But if your treasure is in Christ, no collapse can shake you.
Final Word
The time has come to wake up. The government cannot save you. Your money will soon be no good. These truths are not meant to terrify but to call you back to the only source of true securityโGod Himself.
Isaiah 33:6 declares, โAnd wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the Lord is his treasure.โ
Now more than ever, we must live in righteousness, store up eternal treasure, and prepare our hearts for the soon-coming King.

They all need to get right with GOD
