I’m writing this with a heavy heart, still reeling from the dreadful news that’s been unfolding. First, the shocking report that Charlie Kirk—someone we thought was untouchable—has been killed. Then, the follow-up: nobody has been arrested yet. I don’t know how to express how gut-wrenching, how terrifying that is. If we can’t protect even high-profile public figures, what hope do ordinary people have?

In times past—even if you disagreed radically with a politician—you still felt there were systems in place to keep them safe, to hold someone accountable if something terrible happened. But now? It’s as though government isn’t just failing—it’s fumbling the basics. A political figure is dead. A political assassination. And as far as we know—nothing. No arrests, no suspects, no answers. It’s not just tragic—it’s reckless. It’s shameful. It shows just how sloppy our protection systems—and perhaps our whole political culture—have become.

Think about that for a moment: someone got away with murder. And not just any murder, but one that strikes at the very process of democracy itself. Who’s next? And what’s to stop this from escalating? Honestly, I don’t meet it with political partisanship—there are people on all sides who deserve safety, who deserve some peace of mind. It’s terrifying when you realize that your life—or the lives of those around you—can be snuffed out without warning, and the system might not even care to pursue justice.

You know, in moments like this, I’m reminded of something Renee said: “The government can’t save you, and your money will be of no use.” It resonates in a way that’s both spiritual and deeply bleak. It’s like the truth hit home in the worst way. We put so much faith in institutions, in protection, in the promise of security—then reality shows us how fragile those constructs really are.

Let me be clear: this isn’t about ideology. It isn’t about whether you support this politician or that. It’s about safety. It’s about accountability. It’s about whether a single person—even in the public eye—can be killed, vanish from this world, and then nobody is held accountable. That’s not governance. That’s negligence. That’s a slow tear in the fabric of national integrity.

I feel compelled to say—loudly and plainly—that we need this addressed now. We need transparency, thorough investigation, real action. We can’t let anyone—not just high-profile figures, but anyone—be killed without consequence. We can’t have this senseless violence turning into a norm of fear.

In a democracy, politics should be about ideas, leadership, public service—not bloodshed. When politics devolves into life-and-death stakes—when assassination becomes possible, and even probable—it says something monstrous has taken root. And while I believe in prayer, faith, and prophets, I also believe in the need for leadership that sees clearly, acts wisely, and protects its people. Because without that, what are we even left with?

My heart breaks for the family—regardless of what anyone believed politically, they’ve lost someone. That pain is universal. But unless accountability comes, unless justice is pursued, their loss will be compounded by disgust at a system that can’t—or won’t—act.

So please: if you’re reading this, don’t let this slip by. Speak up, demand answers, insist on change. This isn’t normal. This can’t be tolerated. If we can’t even protect those in the spotlight, then we’re all left vulnerable. And that’s unacceptable. We deserve better. Our democracy deserves better.

Trump’s Memorial Speech: Where’s the Christian in That?

I don’t know about y’all, but that Trump memorial speech was flat out terrible. And I’m not just talking about the delivery, I’m talking about the spirit behind it. Some folks will bend over backwards to defend him, but I honestly don’t get it. I’m scratching my head like, are we watching the same man?…

Tyler Robinson Said He Killed Charlie Kirk Because He Spread Too Much Hate!

At the same time, we can’t act like the environment we’ve created doesn’t feed into these tragedies. People spew venom on television, on social media, even from pulpits and stages where they should be leading with love. And then we act surprised when someone out there, hurting and unstable, takes those words and twists them…
