I’m sitting here just shaking my head at this whole situation. Let me say it straight: if that dude really said he was gonna expose Mike Johnson on Grindr unless he swears somebody in, that sounds a whole lot like blackmail to me. Extortion. Whatever word you wanna use, it ain’t right. Like, how you gonna try to force somebody’s hand by threatening to put their private business out there? That’s not how this is supposed to work.
Now, don’t get me wrong — I don’t ride for Johnson or Trump, but wrong is wrong. If you got dirt on somebody, fine, let the truth come out. But don’t sit up here saying, “Do this or I’ll leak that.” That ain’t justice, that’s just dirty games. And if they really wanted to, they could probably flip it right back on him and charge him for extortion. That’s the crazy part — he thinks he’s holding the cards, but they could use it against him.
And meanwhile, Trump out here still refusing to swear this woman in, knowing she won her seat fair and square. Like, why are we even playing games with democracy like this? She did the work, the people voted, so why is she still sitting on the sidelines? It’s because of those Epstein files, y’all. That’s what nobody wants to admit. These files are hanging over everybody’s head like a storm cloud, and they’re terrified of what’s in them.
So let’s be real — what’s so bad about the Epstein files? I’ll tell you what: they probably name names, connect dots, show receipts that powerful people don’t want seen. That’s why they fight so hard to keep them sealed up. They’ll use every excuse in the book — privacy, victims, ongoing investigations. And yes, some of that is real and important, but let’s not act like folks at the top ain’t also protecting themselves.
Trump could absolutely slide some money under the table to stall things. We all know how that game works. Rich people pay to make problems disappear. They’ve been doing it forever. So while we’re sitting here arguing about Grindr profiles and who swore in who, the bigger picture is being hidden behind locked doors.
And I’m tired of it. This is the same cycle: secrets, threats, hush money, political stalling. Meanwhile, regular people like us don’t get the truth. We just get crumbs, rumors, and staged drama while they keep playing chess with each other’s lives and reputations.
If that guy really thinks outing somebody’s private business is the way to fix politics, he’s dead wrong. All he’s doing is making it worse. Because then the whole conversation shifts — suddenly it’s not about why Trump won’t swear her in, or what’s in those Epstein files. It becomes about the “scandal” of Johnson’s private life. And that’s exactly what the powerful want — distraction.
So yeah, if you ask me, this is extortion. Straight up. And at the same time, it’s a convenient excuse for Trump and his crew to keep dodging the real issue. Because at the end of the day, the Epstein files scare them more than any Grindr rumor ever could.
That’s where I’m at with it. I’m just sick of the games. Swear the woman in. Stop holding secrets over people’s heads. And for once, let the truth — the whole truth — actually come out.

Honestly, yeah, that sounds like straight-up extortion. You can’t just threaten to out somebody unless they do what you want — that’s illegal. But suing Grindr? Probably not, unless the app itself leaked his info. The real issue would be going after the person making the threat, not the platform. I don’t care too much for Mike Johnson but… yeah it is extortion, However, in this case, I think many would be willing to take that charge
Yes and even though we want them release unfortunately he probably can have Trump go and do something about this. And I wouldn’t put it past Trump because he does not want these files to be released like all of us do. This is really a sad situation, I wouldn’t be surprised if he even tried to go after grindr as well because of what they did allowing his messages to be sent out there because basically every site has obligation to somebody’s privacy. And honestly these politicians they can get the best lawyers to get on their side and they have the money to do it.
