Hello everyone, my name is Diana, and I just want to take a moment to share something that really touched my spirit. Recently, I was listening to Ya Girl Renae speak, and what she said shook me in a way I canโ€™t forget. She reminded me that in todayโ€™s world, we are carrying around far too much hate and anger toward one another. People argue over the smallest things, friendships break apart because of pride, and women especially seem to tear each other down more than they lift one another up. Renae said something so powerful: โ€œWe need to love more instead of being so hateful to one another.โ€ Those words sat in my heart like a mirror showing me my own flaws, and it made me realize that God has been saying the same thing all along.

Iโ€™ve always known that God is about love. The Bible tells us in 1 John 4:8, โ€œWhoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.โ€ But hearing it through the voice of someone like Ya Girl Renae, who speaks so real and unfiltered, gave it a new weight for me. She wasnโ€™t talking in circles, she wasnโ€™t sugarcoating anythingโ€”she was reminding us that love is the only way we can survive in a world that seems to thrive on division. And she was especially honest about how women treat each other. She said women need to stop being so mean, stop competing in ways that break one another down, and start supporting each other like sisters.

That hit home. How many times have I seen women roll their eyes at another woman, talk behind her back, or throw shade instead of encouragement? Iโ€™ll be honestโ€”Iโ€™ve done it myself. But Renae reminded me that this is not what God wants from us. God looks at our hearts. If our hearts are filled with jealousy, bitterness, or spite, then weโ€™re not truly living in His light. But if our hearts are full of love, grace, and forgiveness, then weโ€™re walking in His path. It made me realize that sometimes we women think tearing someone else down makes us stronger, but really, it just exposes the weakness in our spirit.

Ya Girl Renae spoke about how love is the most important thing because love is what God will recognize in us. When we stand before Him, He wonโ€™t ask how many arguments we won, how many times we โ€œshowed somebody up,โ€ or how many grudges we held onto. He will look to see if we carried love in our hearts and if we shared it with the people around us. That thought alone is humbling. It makes you stop and rethink every time youโ€™ve chosen to respond with hate instead of compassion.

I think one of the reasons her words touched me so deeply is because Renae isnโ€™t just talking about love in a sweet or shallow way. Sheโ€™s talking about love as a commandment from God. John 13:34 says, โ€œA new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.โ€ This is not a suggestionโ€”itโ€™s a command. And yet, so often we ignore it. We treat each other with cruelty, we use words as weapons, and we pretend itโ€™s okay because โ€œthatโ€™s just how the world is.โ€ But Ya Girl Renae reminded me that we canโ€™t keep using that excuse. Change starts with us, and if we claim to know God, then love has to flow through everything we do.

Since listening to her message, Iโ€™ve started to check myself more. When I feel that urge to gossip, I stop. When I want to roll my eyes at someone, I remember that love should guide my response. When another woman succeeds, I remind myself to celebrate her instead of compare myself to her. And you know what? Itโ€™s freeing. Carrying love feels so much lighter than carrying hate. It gives peace instead of stress. It gives joy instead of bitterness.

So today, I just want to thank Ya Girl Renae for being brave enough to say what so many of us need to hear. Sometimes we get so caught up in everyday life that we forget the simplest truth: God is love, and He wants us to live in love. If we want to change this world, if we want to walk in Godโ€™s purpose, then we have to start treating each other with kindness and compassion, especially as women. No more tearing each other down. No more bitterness. Only love.

I pray that everyone who reads this will let her words, and ultimately Godโ€™s words, sink into your heart. Letโ€™s stop living with hate and start living with love. Thank you, Ya Girl Renae, for reminding meโ€”and reminding us allโ€”that love is what truly matters.
