How Do You Get in Contact with Uber Eats Directly?

I don’t even know what else to do at this point. I am so beyond frustrated with Uber Eats right now. You cannot get a human being on the phone to save your life. Everything they do is through that app, and let me tell you, the app is absolutely no help when you’re dealing with a real problem. I had an order come through tonight, and as soon as the driver dropped it off, I noticed that I was missing several of my items. Not one or two, but a few things that I paid for. I stood there in disbelief because I couldn’t even call anyone to straighten it out.
Uber Eats doesn’t give you any real customer service number to contact. You can’t call, you can’t chat with a live person, and the “Help” section in the app just sends you through a bunch of useless links and pre-written messages that don’t address your issue. I tried tapping every single option, and all it did was take me in circles. It feels like they make it almost impossible for you to actually reach someone when you have a missing item, cold food, or anything else that needs attention.
At this point, I just want to know: How do you actually talk to Uber Eats directly? Does anyone know a number or a method that really works? I’ve seen people online claim there’s a support line, but I can’t find one that connects to an actual person.
I don’t think it’s fair that we’re spending our hard-earned money on food delivery, and then when something goes wrong, there’s no real customer service available. I shouldn’t have to jump through hoops for something as simple as reporting missing items. This has happened more than once now, and I’m starting to lose my patience. If anybody has a reliable way to contact them — even if it’s an email or direct line — please share it. This is ridiculous!
I’m furious right now. Uber Eats has made it nearly impossible to get any real help when something goes wrong with your order. I had a driver literally sitting in her car…
Caroline, girl, I completely understand your frustration because I’ve been right there with you. Uber Eats makes it feel impossible to reach a real person when something goes wrong. I had the same exact issue — a missing drink and side order — and I went through that endless “Help” loop in the app that never actually connects you with anyone human. It’s beyond aggravating when you spend your money and can’t even talk to someone about it.
Here’s what I finally figured out: there’s actually a customer service number, but they don’t make it easy to find. Try calling 1-800-253-9377. It’s Uber’s main support line, and if you follow the prompts carefully, you can usually get through to someone who handles Uber Eats issues. You can also go to their website at help.uber.com, then click Uber Eats → Orders → Missing or wrong items, and at the bottom of that page there’s sometimes a “Contact Support” or “Chat” option that connects you directly to a representative (if they’re available).
Another tip — if you rate your order poorly and mention “missing items,” that sometimes triggers a quicker refund or response through the app. I know it’s not perfect, but that’s the best way I’ve gotten actual help when their support seems hidden.
You’re not overreacting at all. It’s ridiculous that they make paying customers chase them around for something so simple. Hopefully that number works for you — and if it doesn’t, at least know you’re not the only one fighting with this nonsense.
