You know what’s really been sitting on my heart lately? Watching how Christian content gets treated on YouTube. I’m talking about the real, genuine content creators who post the Word, testimonies, prayers, or even uplifting shorts meant to reach people who need to hear about God. And yet, it’s like YouTube wants to hide them. The algorithm plays favorites, and it’s painfully obvious. When you scroll through your feed, you’ll see a ton of nonsense go viral—people dancing, arguing, doing pranks—but let a creator start talking about Jesus, and suddenly their views drop or their content doesn’t get pushed out.
It’s crazy because you can literally see the difference in engagement. A Christian short might only get a couple hundred views, while a random clip about drama or lust racks up millions overnight. It’s almost like the system is designed to reward chaos and suppress peace. And you can’t tell me it’s just coincidence, because these creators pour their hearts into what they’re doing. They’re not pushing hate, they’re not spreading lies—they’re just sharing truth. But truth is exactly what people don’t want to hear anymore.
The world has gotten to a place where anything involving God is treated like a burden. People act like God is ruining their lives instead of saving them. They don’t realize that the same God they’re rejecting is the one who’s been protecting them. It hurts to see that people would rather listen to influencers telling them to “manifest” things instead of praying for discernment. They’d rather worship trends than trust the Lord.
And the part that frustrates me the most? YouTube still profits off Christian creators. They’ll gladly run ads on a sermon or a gospel music video. They’ll take their cut from every monetized view. But when it comes to promoting that same content? Crickets. The algorithm will bury it under piles of clickbait because, apparently, spreading the gospel isn’t “trending material.” It’s almost like they want to make money off God’s Word without ever acknowledging its power.
I’m not saying every creator should be pushed just because they’re Christian—but there’s no denying the bias. You can tell the system doesn’t value faith-based voices the same way it does others. They call it “luck” when a Christian video goes viral, but maybe it’s just God making sure His Word still reaches someone, no matter how much they try to silence it.
So yeah, I’ve noticed. And I’m tired of pretending it’s not happening. YouTube can keep playing their games, but God’s message will always find a way through. The world might not want to hear about Him—but He’s still speaking, whether the algorithm likes it or not.
