Hey everyone, my name’s Jessica, and I’m seriously thinking about ordering some new glasses from Lensmart, but I wanted to come on here first and see if anyone else has actually bought from them before I make the final decision. I’ve been searching for affordable glasses online, and Lensmart keeps popping up with what seems like really good deals. The frames are cute, trendy, and super affordable compared to what I’ve seen at my local optical shop. You can get just about any type of frame style you want—cat eye, round, square, oversized, clear—you name it. The prices seem very reasonable, especially for someone like me who’s on a budget but still wants something stylish.

What I like is that they give you the option to buy just the frames if you want to have your doctor’s office put the prescription lenses in. That part I really appreciate because sometimes I like to know my prescription is being handled by someone local who knows what they’re doing. But at the same time, Lensmart also gives you the option to add the lenses when you order, and they even offer transitions and blue light filters for a good price. I compared it to what my optometrist’s office wanted to charge me, and Lensmart is definitely cheaper.

Still, I can’t help but feel a little cautious. I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews online—some people say their glasses came out perfect and others say the prescription was off or that the shipping took longer than expected. I’m wondering if anyone here has ordered from them before. Were your glasses good quality when they arrived? Did they fit comfortably and match your prescription accurately? Or did you run into any issues, like scratches, cheap frames, or delays in shipping?

I’m not trying to bash the company or anything, I just want to make sure I make the right choice before I spend my money. I plan to add transitions and possibly anti-glare, so it’s going to cost a bit more than just the base price.
