There comes a time when you have to stop letting people tell you who you are and start believing what God says about you. See, people will measure your worth by how perfect you look, what you’ve accomplished, or how well you perform. But God measures your worth by His love for you—and that love doesn’t change with the seasons. It doesn’t fade when you fall short. It doesn’t weaken when you stumble. It stays the same yesterday, today, and forever.
God wants you to know your value. He wants you to walk with confidence knowing that you belong to Him. As long as you’re trying to live right, doing the best you can, and keeping your faith strong, you’ve got to know that you are loved by God. He doesn’t just love you when everything is going right—He loves you when everything feels like it’s falling apart.
Jesus Himself felt that moment of loneliness. When He was on the cross, He cried out, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” He knew what it was like to feel forgotten, to feel pain, to feel separated. But even then, God had not forsaken Him. The same is true for us. Sometimes we may not feel God’s presence. We may wonder if He’s still listening. But He never leaves us. He never stops loving us.
God understands our imperfections. He knows we are human. He knows the battles we face—the doubts, the fears, the moments when the enemy tries to whisper lies into our minds. He knows how heavy life can feel, and how loneliness can sneak up on us in the quiet moments. But through all of that, God continues to show us that He is near. Every day He gives us signs of His love—waking us up, giving us breath, providing food, shelter, peace, and even a word of encouragement when we need it most.
Even in chaos, God makes Himself known. Sometimes it’s through a small blessing that shows up right when we’re about to give up. Sometimes it’s through a scripture that hits your heart at just the right moment. Sometimes it’s through someone reminding you that you matter. God uses everyday moments to whisper, “I’m here. I love you.”
But one thing He wants us to understand—and truly believe—is that we are loved. Because if we don’t know that, how can anyone else see it in us? If you don’t walk like you know who you are in Christ, the world will try to tell you who you aren’t. That’s why we have to carry ourselves like children of the King. We’ve got to walk in that truth: I am loved.
If our Father says that we are loved, then that’s the truth. His word doesn’t change. His promises don’t break. We have to keep reminding ourselves of what He says. Because if you don’t know that you’re loved, it becomes hard to fully receive what He’s giving you. You start to doubt the blessings, question the miracles, and overlook His goodness.
Many prayers go unanswered not because God doesn’t care, but because we don’t believe we’re worthy enough to receive. But when you know—deep in your spirit—that you are loved by Him, everything changes. You start walking differently. You start expecting goodness. You stop accepting less than what He promised.
No one can count you out when you know that God is for you. No one can take away your relationship with Christ. When God says, “I will never leave you nor forsake you,” He means it. He’s not a man that He should lie. He’s faithful to His word and faithful to His children.
And let me tell you something—God loves His children deeply. He gives the best to those who belong to Him. If He can love a sinner—someone who doesn’t even try to follow Him—then surely, He loves those who are doing their best to stay in His will. God sees the effort. He sees the struggle. He knows you’re trying, and that’s enough for Him to keep working on your behalf.
It’s strange that sinners can believe they’re accepted, but believers sometimes can’t. That’s a lie straight from the enemy. The devil wants you to doubt your value because he knows that once you realize how loved you are, he can’t touch you.
So from this day forward, walk like you know. Talk like you know. Believe like you know. You are loved—through the good, through the bad, through every season. Morning, noon, and night, know that God’s love never changes. You don’t have to earn it; you just have to accept it. Because once you truly know that you’re loved, that’s when you’ll begin to receive all that God has for you.
