Excerpt: Julia doesn’t hold back in this fiery rant about Trump’s alleged plan to limit voting rights while hinting at a third term. She calls it what it is — a full-blown attack on democracy and a wake-up call for every American who still believes their voice matters.

You know what’s really blowing my mind right now? The fact that Donald Trump is out here talking about stopping Americans from voting — and in the same breath, he’s entertaining the idea of running for a third term. Like, what kind of madness is this? I’m watching this interview on Midas Touch, and I’m honestly in disbelief. We’ve reached a point where power and greed have completely taken over any sense of morality or democracy. This is not leadership. This is dictatorship energy, plain and simple.
I don’t care how you vote or what party you’re loyal to if you believe in the Constitution and the right to vote, this should terrify you. The idea that any leader, past or present, thinks it’s okay to take away the voice of the people while plotting to stay in power beyond the legal limit is absolutely insane. That’s not “Make America Great Again.” That’s “Make America Controlled Again.”
Trump has always had a taste for control, but this right here crosses a line. The presidency is supposed to be about service, not self-worship. And now that he’s talking about stripping away voting rights while fantasizing about another term — that’s the biggest red flag in political history. It’s like he’s saying the quiet part out loud now because he thinks people are too numb or distracted to notice.
Meanwhile, we’ve got Gavin Newsom stepping up, and honestly, I respect it. You might not agree with everything he’s done as governor, but at least he’s someone who cares about the people the environment, equality, progress, and the world we live in. That’s the kind of energy we need right now: someone who sees leadership as a responsibility, not a trophy. Because right now, this country feels like it’s being treated like one giant reality show, where chaos gets ratings and truth doesn’t matter anymore.
And don’t get me started on these “hidden files” and shady dealings we keep hearing about. Every time something serious comes up, there’s another round of distraction — another speech, another “witch hunt” rant, another victim narrative. It’s exhausting. It’s like Trump thrives on confusion, division, and fear. He wants people to argue, to turn on each other, because that’s how he keeps power. Divide the people, silence their voices, and claim the crown. That’s not democracy that’s tyranny.
If we as Americans don’t wake up now, we might as well hand over our rights on a silver platter. Because once voting rights are gone, once term limits are erased, there’s no going back. History has shown us exactly how this story ends, and it’s never pretty. Nations fall when leaders refuse to step down. Freedom dies when people stop fighting for it.
I’m tired of pretending this is normal political drama. This is serious business. If Trump truly believes he can cancel voting rights and force his way into a third term, then we have a national crisis on our hands. This is the kind of stuff you read about in history books — the moment a country lets a strongman rise because too many people stayed quiet.
We have to be louder. We have to vote — while we still can. We have to know our rights, protect them, and call out every attempt to strip them away. Because if we don’t, we’re looking at a future where elections don’t matter, truth doesn’t matter, and power belongs only to the wealthy and corrupt.
So yes, Gavin Newsom running gives me hope. Because at least someone out there still believes in democracy, compassion, and the future of this country. But Trump trying to run a third term while blocking votes? That’s not politics. That’s the end of the American dream.
