Tried the Anezus Self-Grip Rollers Set and ended up losing hair instead of gaining curls. Between stuck rollers, missing clips, and painful tangles, this cheap product isn’t worth the hype — or your money.

I tried the Anezus Self-Grip Rollers from Amazon and let me tell you cheap is an understatement. From pulling my hair out to rollers that won’t even separate, this product was a total headache. Save your coins, because this one’s not it! 😤
Okay, y’all, I’ve gotta talk about this because I’m honestly frustrated beyond words right now. I bought the Anezus Self-Grip Rollers Set (60 pieces) on Amazon thinking I was getting a cute little bargain for my hair routine. The pictures looked good, the colors were bright, and the reviews made it seem like a decent deal. But after using it? I’m here to say it loud and clear don’t waste your money!
First off, let’s talk about how cheaply made this product is. The minute I tried to roll my hair, I could feel the Velcro tugging way too harshly. I mean, it literally pulled my hair out. 😩 Not a few strands I’m talking actual chunks. The self-grip part is supposed to gently hold your hair in place, right? Well, this thing grips like it’s trying to snatch your scalp clean off. I tried to be gentle, but even then, it still snagged my hair. If you have fine or thin hair, forget it this product will do more harm than good.
Then there’s the whole clip situation. The set claims to come with clips so you can hold the rollers in place, but they barely give you any! I only had a handful of clips, and when you’ve got 60 rollers, that’s just ridiculous. What are we supposed to do curl one section at a time? 🙄 You’re left having to either buy extra clips separately or try to make the rollers stay put on their own, which doesn’t work. It’s like they gave up halfway through making this product and said, “Eh, that’s good enough.”
But the biggest problem of all and I mean the deal-breaker — is how the rollers come stuffed inside each other. Like, they literally shove the smaller ones inside the larger ones to make it look compact. Now, in theory, that sounds like a cute space-saving idea. But in reality? It’s a complete disaster. Two of the medium-sized rollers are stuck together and will not come apart. I’ve pulled, twisted, even tried using a little force — and they just won’t budge. So now, instead of having 60 usable rollers, I’m stuck with less than that, because some are basically glued together permanently.
I was already irritated that my hair was getting pulled, but realizing that I couldn’t even use all the sizes was just the last straw. What’s the point of having “60 pieces” if half of them are unusable? The whole experience felt like a trap — flashy listing, low price, but zero quality.
Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this product to anybody. Not even as a backup set. If you want to protect your hair and actually enjoy styling it, spend a few more dollars on a better brand. I’d rather pay more for something that works than deal with hair loss and frustration. This was supposed to be fun and easy, but instead it turned into a total disaster. 💔
