I am absolutely done with Fifth Third Bank. Like, finished. I swear there’s a black cloud hanging over that place because every single time I try to deal with them, something ridiculous happens. It’s like the moment you walk in or try to handle business online, that bad energy hits you right in the face. I should’ve left a long time ago.
The customer service? Trash. 🗑️ Every time I called, it was like pulling teeth just to get someone to talk to me respectfully. Either they act like they’re doing you a favor or they pass you around to four different people who don’t know what they’re doing. I had one rep literally argue with me like it was my fault their system was messed up. I’m sorry, but if I verified my identity, my license, my social, and everything else in person, why am I still waiting 30 to 90 days to use my own account properly? Make it make sense!
Then the app? Oh my goodness. Glitch after glitch. You can’t move money the way you want to. You can’t even get basic alerts without something freezing or lagging. And the overdraft system? Sneaky. You’ll think your balance is fine, and then boom some mysterious charge hits, and they tack on a fee before you even get a notification. That’s the kind of stress nobody needs in 2025.
So I packed up and left. I switched over to Friendship Bank and a local credit union, and guess what? No more headaches. No long waits. No rude representatives. No mysterious fees. Just normal banking the way it’s supposed to be. I can actually breathe when I log in now. 😂
Fifth Third needs to be renamed “Zero Out of Five” Bank because they don’t deserve that fifth of anything. If you’re still banking with them, I’m telling you from experience get out while you can. Some places are just cursed with bad business, and this one is it. The black cloud followed me every step of the way until I finally left. Now? Sunshine and peace. ☀️💰
