It sounds like, based on her interview with Don Lemon, that Ashley St. Clair needed Elon Musk’s financial support to help maintain her lifestyle as well. That’s what made the conversation so interesting to me. There seems to be a lot more to this story than what we’re hearing publicly.
Another thing that stands out is how much influence money can have in politics and public opinion. Elon Musk spent a significant amount of money during the election cycle supporting Donald Trump and causes connected to him. Whether people agree or disagree, it’s fair to say that money plays a huge role in shaping narratives, getting messages in front of voters, and influencing public discussions.
