Angela Perryman, a lady from Florida, reportedly had Hantavirus and was on a cruise ship. What really concerns me is that Florida did not make residents aware of this situation. Instead, many people are just now hearing about it through an article published in The Wall Street Journal on June 16.

The problem is that we have no idea how long this was going on before it became public knowledge. That is what makes this so concerning. Another thing that worries me is that we do not know what city or area this lady lived in. People are left with a lot of unanswered questions, and that can be frightening.

I think people have a right to know when something like this happens, especially when it involves a serious illness and travel on a cruise ship. Whether the risk is high or low, transparency matters. When information is limited, it naturally causes concern because people start wondering what they are not being told.

Personally, I would suggest wearing a mask and taking reasonable precautions. At the very least, it is better to be aware and prepared than caught off guard. We have all learned over the years how quickly health situations can change.

I am not trying to cause panic, but I do think people should pay attention and stay informed. The lack of information is what I find most troubling. Right now, there are simply more questions than answers, and that is never a good feeling when it comes to public health.

The only thing I can say that RFK Jr. is doing right is encouraging people to pay attention to health issues and be aware of what is going on around them.
