I just saw that two men were shot on the 3900 block of 9th Avenue South in St. Petersburg, and it’s honestly sad to keep seeing stories like this.

From what I’ve read so far, both men were shot outside earlier that morning. Thankfully, their injuries were reported as non-life-threatening, and they were taken to the hospital for treatment. Police responded quickly, and detectives stayed on the scene trying to figure out exactly what happened.

Right now, there aren’t a lot of details being released, so it’s hard to know what led up to the shooting. Hopefully investigators can get some answers and determine whether this was a targeted incident or something that could have put other people nearby in danger.

I always wonder what the people living in these neighborhoods are thinking when something like this happens so close to home. It has to be unsettling to wake up and find out there was a shooting right down the street.

What do you all think? Have you heard anything else about this case? Do you think communities are getting enough support to help reduce violent crime, or does something more need to be done? I’m just glad both victims are expected to survive, and I hope the police are able to get to the bottom of what happened soon.
