I’m hearing some more talk surrounding Bishop Manuel Sykes, and people are starting to ask some serious questions.
Word going around is that Bishop Sykes may be going through another divorce, this time involving his newest wife. I want to be clear that I have not personally seen divorce papers confirming this, so I’m treating this as an unconfirmed report until more information comes out. But if it is true, I can understand why people are talking.
A lot of people seem concerned about what they view as a pattern of him moving from one relationship or marriage to another, especially because he has been such a visible church leader. When you are a bishop or pastor, people are naturally going to look closely at your personal life and question whether what is happening behind the scenes lines up with what is being preached from the pulpit.
I’m also hearing that he may have stepped down from the church, although I have not seen anything official confirming that either. That raises even more questions because people are wondering whether the reported marriage problems have anything to do with his position at the church or whether the two situations are completely unrelated.
For now, there seems to be a lot of talk surrounding Bishop Sykes, but more information needs to come out before anyone knows exactly what is happening.
