Come As You Are – How We As Christians Should Dress!
Dressing modestly, carrying ourselves with dignity, and presenting ourselves respectfully are ways we honor God. 1 Corinthians 10:31 says, “Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” Even our wardrobe should reflect that we belong to Christ, not because we want to impress others but because we honor God with everything, including our appearance. This extends to how we treat our bodies. Being overweight, battling obesity, or dealing with health issues like high blood pressure and diabetes are real struggles. Coming to God with these struggles is welcomed, but remaining in them without a fight is not His desire. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 reminds us, “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit?” We are called to honor God with our bodies, which means caring for our health.
