So I just bought a pair of blue contact lenses, and normally my eyes are dark brown. I’ve been wanting to switch things up for a while now, and I finally decided to go for it. I’m kinda on the fence though I can’t tell if the blue looks natural or if it’s giving “too much.” 😂

Here’s a pic of me (well, one of my eyes really). On one side, you can see my natural brown eye, and on the other, I’m wearing the blue contact. I wanted to do a half-and-half so it’s easier to compare.

Now, when I look in the mirror, I feel like the blue kinda pops in a cool way, but I’m so used to my brown eyes that it feels weird seeing such a big difference. I’m trying to decide whether to keep wearing them or just go back to my natural color.

Be honest with me do y’all think the blue suits me, or should I stick with the brown? I’m not offended by honesty! 😅 I just want some outside opinions before I start wearing these out in public.

Also, if anyone else has switched up their eye color with contacts, how long did it take before you felt “normal” looking at yourself in them? Because right now, every time I pass a mirror, I double-take like I’m looking at a stranger. 😂
