I’m honestly at the point where I don’t even trust buying from Amazon like I used to. It feels like every other product is falsely advertised. The pictures look amazing, the description sounds perfect, and then what shows up at your door is completely different. It’s not just one bad experience either—it keeps happening. Sellers are clearly using misleading photos, fake claims, and overhyped descriptions just to get sales.

What’s crazy is that it makes you second guess EVERYTHING. Even when something has good ratings, you’re still wondering if it’s real or not. Shopping used to feel easy, but now it feels like a gamble every single time. You spend more time researching than actually buying. At this point, I don’t even know what’s legit anymore, and that’s a problem for a platform this big.

I felt this completely because I’ve gone through the same thing more times than I can count. It’s like you get excited about a product, read all the details, and then when it arrives, it’s nothing like what was promised. What bothers me the most is how consistent it’s become. It’s not just a one-off bad seller—it feels like a pattern across different categories.

Now I find myself zooming into photos, reading the worst reviews first, and even checking outside sources before buying anything. That’s not how shopping should feel. Amazon used to be about trust and convenience, but now it feels like you have to investigate every purchase. I still use it, but I’m way more cautious, and honestly, I hesitate a lot more before clicking “buy.”
