I’ll be real for a moment, failing something you truly gave your all to hits different. I recently applied for a job, studied hard, showed up prepared, and still didn’t pass the test. At first, I felt discouraged, like maybe I wasn’t good enough or missed my shot. But after sitting with it, I realized something deeper.

Sometimes, doing your best and still failing isn’t a sign to quit, it’s a sign that something else is meant for you. Not everything we work toward is aligned with our path, even if we want it badly. And that’s okay. It doesn’t erase the effort, the discipline, or the growth that came from trying.

I’ve learned that rejection doesn’t define you, it redirects you. Maybe that door closed because there’s something better ahead, something more aligned with your purpose. God’s timing and plans don’t always match what we expect, but they always have meaning.

So if you’ve failed at something recently, don’t let it break you. Let it build you. You showed up. You tried. That alone says a lot about your character. Keep going. Your journey isn’t over, it’s just taking a different route.
