I’m gonna be honest—people are so focused on gas prices right now that they’re missing something even bigger that could hit us way harder… FOOD.

Everybody keeps talking about the Strait of Hormuz like it’s just about oil, like “oh gas might go up.” But what people don’t realize is that this same route is tied into fertilizer, grain supply chains, and agricultural inputs that affect food production worldwide. When that gets disrupted, it’s not just about filling up your tank—it’s about whether groceries stay affordable.

And that’s where this starts getting real. Because if tensions keep rising between the U.S. and Iran, and if leadership decisions push things in the wrong direction, we could be looking at a situation where global trade tightens up. And when trade tightens, prices go up. Period.

Now let’s talk about Trump, because people don’t like to connect the dots here. His approach to foreign policy—pressure, sanctions, aggressive moves—can escalate situations fast. We’ve already seen how tensions with Iran have gone from bad to worse before. If that kind of strategy ramps back up without careful planning, it could make things unstable real quick. And instability in that region? That’s not just “over there.” That hits us right here at home.

Think about it—higher fuel costs → higher farming costs → higher transportation costs → higher grocery prices. And if fertilizer or key food commodities get delayed or restricted? Farmers can’t produce the same, and that trickles down to empty shelves or crazy prices.

We’re already struggling with rent, bills, and everyday expenses. Now imagine walking into the store and basic food items are even higher—or harder to find. That’s not fear talking—that’s reality if things keep escalating.

I’m just saying, people need to pay attention beyond headlines. This isn’t just about politics—it’s about survival, cost of living, and whether everyday people can keep up. Because once food gets hit, everything changes.

f things keep going the way they are, a lot of people are going to struggle, 😕and yes, some will go without food. That’s just the truth of how shortages and rising prices hit. And what’s crazy is, 👉Ya Girl Renae was already saying this back in early June. She said “The government wouldn’t be able to save you, and that money wouldn’t be NO GOOD!” That hits different now. This is why people need to wake up, prepare, pray, and stop depending on systems that can fail at any moment.

Look at this video to explain how all of this could go bad. I saw this in explination of what could happen in a food crisis.
