Okay so I gotta ask because I KNOW Iโm not the only one dealing with thisโฆ
Iโve been playing Sims 2 for about a year now, and listenโฆ the amount of downloads?? Mods, CC, houses, clothes, hacksโitโs getting out of hand ๐ฉ
At first it was fun, like โokay just a few cute outfitsโโฆ then next thing you know your Downloads folder is looking CRAZY. Now my game is starting to move slow, loading takes forever, and my computer be sounding like itโs about to take off like a plane ๐
Like seriouslyโฆ is this just part of the Sims life or am I doing something wrong??
So Iโm trying to figure this out now before my whole setup crashes on meโฆ
- What kind of computer are yโall using to run Sims 2 smoothly?
- Are you on a gaming PC or just a regular laptop?
- Where is the BEST place to get a good PC that can actually handle mods without lag?
- And how are yโall organizing all these files without losing your mind??
Iโm ready to upgrade if I have to because I refuse to give up my game ๐ญ
Help ya girl outโฆ whatโs working for you??

Acer Nitro ( N50- 650) Desktop, I can run it all and there isnโt a hitch.
i7 13th gen, RTX 3050 ( graphics card). 16GB RAM , 500 GB SSD
Still have to add a bigger SSD and more RAM. For now itโs pretty smooth. Even with a lot of mods and CC. I also have all packs, save maybe 6 kits. Graphics on Ultra. Even big huge cluttered lots itโs fine.
Itโs almost like this, only I have a better processor, but without the 1tb hard drive.
