Let me say this with clarity, because this isn’t just a thought—this is something God will show you when you start paying attention.

Everything that doesn’t work out is not a loss. It is a decision made by God. We get caught up thinking we missed something, or that we weren’t good enough, or that we should’ve done more. But that’s not what’s happening. What’s really happening is that God is closing doors you were never assigned to walk through.

There are spaces, jobs, and relationships that look right on the outside, but they are not designed for your life. And if God allowed you to stay in them, it would pull you out of alignment with what He actually prepared for you. That’s why things fall apart. It’s not confusion—it’s correction.

God is not reacting to your life. He already knows the outcome. He already knows what will grow you, what will break you, and what will distract you. So when something doesn’t work, understand this clearly: you were not qualified for that assignment because it was never yours to begin with.

And that’s not rejection, that’s protection. The right job will not drain your peace. The right relationship will not confuse your spirit. The right friendships will not compete with your purpose. God does not operate in chaos.

So when things don’t work out, don’t panic and don’t chase what’s leaving. Stand still and trust that God is aligning you with what actually belongs to you. Because what God has for you will not require you to force it, beg for it, or break yourself to keep it. And once you understand that, you stop questioning and start trusting.
