I randomly came across this small creator called @JShaunaMaker, and I’m not even gonna lie… it felt like I stepped back into the old YouTube. You know what I mean? When people weren’t trying to go viral every second, weren’t chasing brand deals, and weren’t acting like mini celebrities 24/7.

He was literally just cooking dinner… that’s it. No over-the-top editing, no loud intros, no “SMASH THAT LIKE BUTTON” energy. Just calm, real, everyday life. And honestly? It was refreshing as heck.

I feel like once money got involved heavy, everything changed. Now it’s all about algorithms, trends, and who can be the loudest or most dramatic. But these smaller creators? They’re bringing back that vibe where you can just sit, watch, and breathe for a minute.

And @JShaunaMaker… he got that it factor without even trying. It’s like he brings calm to the noise of everything else online. I found myself just watching, not even thinking about anything stressful. That’s rare these days.

Lowkey, I think we’re sleeping on smaller creators. They’re not performing, they’re just living. And maybe that’s what people actually need more of right now.
