Listen… I’ve been watching Joe Rogan for a minute now, and I gotta be honest, this whole situation just feels off. 🤦🏽‍♂️ Like how do you run one of the biggest podcasts in the world and still come across like you don’t even know where you stand half the time?

I’m not even trying to hate, but it’s confusing. One minute he’s platforming people and sounding like he’s leaning a certain way, then the next minute he’s acting like he’s just “figuring things out.” Nah… at some point you gotta own what you put out there. Especially when you’ve had a huge voice in how people view someone like Donald Trump.

Let’s be real, this didn’t just happen overnight. The signs were there from the beginning. You can’t act shocked now like you didn’t see anything coming. That’s what throws me off. It feels like now that things are shifting, now there’s questions, now there’s hesitation. Where was that energy before?

And I’m gonna say what a lot of people are thinking… it starts to look like it was more about the moment than the message. Like doing that interview, pushing certain conversations … it felt strategic. Like “let me get back on top.” Because let’s not ignore the fact that platforms like Spotify are all about numbers and rankings, and right now shows like MeidasTouch are climbing.

So yeah, people are paying attention.

At the end of the day, it’s not even about being right or wrong…. it’s about being real. If you made a call that didn’t land right, just say that. People respect honesty way more than confusion. Sitting there going back and forth, acting unsure, it just makes everything feel less authentic.

I’m just saying… if you’re gonna have that big of a platform, stand on something. Don’t leave everybody else trying to figure out what you even believe. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I hear what you’re saying, and I get the frustration… but I think we gotta look at this from a different angle too. 🤔

Joe Rogan has always been the type to just sit down and talk things out in real time. That’s kinda his whole brand. He’s not a polished news anchor or a politician — he’s literally thinking out loud with his guests. So yeah, sometimes it comes off like he’s unsure or going back and forth, but that might actually be the point.

Now when it comes to Donald Trump, I don’t think it’s as simple as “he should’ve known better.” A lot of people had mixed opinions, changed their minds over time, or saw things differently as more played out. That’s just real life. People grow, people reassess.

And honestly, I don’t fully agree that it was all about chasing numbers on Spotify. Of course numbers matter…. that’s business — but Rogan was already at the top for a long time. I think he brings people on because he knows it’ll spark conversation, not just because of rankings or competition with MeidasTouch.

If anything, I’d say the bigger issue is how much influence podcasts even have now. People treat these conversations like endorsements when sometimes it’s just… conversation. That line gets blurred real quick.

I do agree with you on one thing though, when you have that kind of platform, you gotta be more clear about where you stand, or at least acknowledge the impact of what you say. That part matters. But I don’t think he’s fake or just doing it for clout. I think he’s just messy with it, and sometimes messy looks like confusion. 🤷🏽‍♂️
