Did anyone else see this terrible display at the UFC fight at the White House? I am so disappointed in America right now. Josh Hokit is a coward, and so is Joe Rogan. Trump is, you know… a complete butt hole, and I honestly cannot believe that anyone would be okay with any of these people being on stage or holding office.
What really bothers me is how certain people continue to attack and disrespect others while pretending they’re standing for freedom or patriotism. Why on earth do some White men feel so intimidated by Black women? I mean, to call out Barack Obama’s wife in this way is frightening. Michelle Obama has carried herself with dignity for years, and yet people still find ways to disrespect her.
The whole thing felt like a terrible display of where our country is headed. Instead of bringing people together, it seems like some individuals are more interested in creating division, controversy, and outrage. It is honestly exhausting to watch.
We are literally living in the last days, and it feels like common decency is disappearing right before our eyes. Every day there seems to be a new controversy, a new insult, or another example of people treating each other horribly. At some point, we have to ask ourselves what kind of nation we want to be.
I truly believe we need JESUS. We need more love, more compassion, more respect, and less hatred. Because if this is the direction we continue to go, I don’t know what the future looks like. It is sad, disappointing, and honestly frightening to watch unfold.
Whether people agree or disagree with this post, I think it raises an important question about where our country is headed. It feels like so much of our public discourse today is built around insulting, mocking, and tearing other people down instead of having meaningful conversations. We don’t all have to share the same political views, but basic respect should still matter.
What concerns me most is how divided Americans have become. Every event, interview, or public appearance seems to turn into another battle between opposing sides. At some point, we have to stop treating each other like enemies and start remembering that we’re all people first.
I also agree that faith, compassion, and humility are desperately needed right now. The constant outrage and negativity are exhausting. Regardless of where someone stands politically, I think most people can agree that our nation could benefit from more kindness, more understanding, and a lot less hostility.
