This is beyond heartbreaking… it’s honestly hard to even process something like this. Eight children. Eight innocent lives gone in what should have been the safest place for them, their own home. There are no words strong enough for the kind of pain and anger this brings.

Every time something like this happens, we hear the same thing: “tragic,” “unimaginable,” “domestic situation.” But that doesn’t even begin to explain the devastation left behind. These were kids with futures, personalities, laughter, dreams… and all of that was taken in an instant by someone who was supposed to protect them. That’s what makes it hit even harder.

And then there’s the wife and another woman fighting for their lives. Surviving something like this isn’t just physical — it’s emotional, mental, lifelong trauma. The ripple effect from one act of violence like this spreads through families, communities, and even people just hearing about it. It shakes you.

What’s really unsettling is how often we’re hearing about situations like this. It forces you to ask: what is happening behind closed doors that we’re not seeing? How many warning signs get missed, ignored, or go unreported? And what can actually be done before it gets to this point?

This isn’t just another headline. It’s a reminder that something deeper is broken, whether it’s mental health support, family intervention systems, or just people being willing to step in when something feels off.

My heart goes out to those children and everyone affected. Situations like this shouldn’t exist, yet here we are again… trying to make sense of something that simply doesn’t make sense.
