Am I the only one noticing that Temu isn’t as cheap as it used to be?

When Temu first came out, it felt like you could fill up an entire cart and barely spend any money. That’s what made people love the platform. You could find home décor, electronics, clothing, kitchen gadgets, outdoor items, and all kinds of random things for prices that seemed almost impossible to beat.

Now, every time I get on there, I find myself looking at the prices and thinking, “Wait a minute, wasn’t this cheaper a few months ago?”

I honestly think a few things have changed the market. First, Amazon started carrying and reselling a lot of the same products that were originally popular on Temu. Once larger companies start competing for the same inventory and suppliers, prices tend to rise.

Then you have tariffs and changes in international trade policies affecting products coming into the United States. Whether people agree with those policies or not, it definitely seems like consumers are seeing the effects through higher prices. The days of getting unbelievably cheap items shipped halfway across the world may be changing.

What makes it frustrating is that many shoppers turned to Temu because they were already struggling with inflation. Groceries cost more. Utilities cost more. Rent and housing costs more. Temu felt like one of the few places where you could still find a bargain.

Now I’m finding myself comparing prices between Temu, Amazon, Walmart, and other stores because sometimes the difference isn’t nearly as big as it used to be. Don’t get me wrong, there are still deals to be found, but the platform doesn’t feel quite the same anymore.

Has anyone else noticed this? Are you still shopping on Temu, or have you started looking elsewhere for deals? I’d love to hear what everyone thinks because I can’t be the only one seeing these price increases.
