We should all be concerned with Joe Rogan and his terrible display of what he put on during the White House 250th birthday. I think it was just a catastrophe. Why on earth would anyone be comfortable sitting with someone who was blatantly putting out racism and smiling and not saying anything about it? Not taking that microphone and holding it to his mouth and saying that is unacceptable?

That is the part that really bothers me. There comes a point where silence speaks louder than words. If something is wrong, then it should be called out right then and there. Instead, what many people saw was someone sitting comfortably while offensive comments were being made, and that sends a message whether people want to admit it or not.

Because we all know that I’ve said many times before that Joe Rogan was the very person that seemed to always try to play the fence on certain things. That’s why moments like this stand out even more. People expect public figures with large platforms to take a position when something crosses the line.

At the end of the day, people can agree or disagree, but conversations about racism should never be treated like entertainment. If something is unacceptable, it should be called unacceptable. That’s the responsibility that comes with having a microphone and one of the biggest audiences in the world.
