I just wanted to give everyone a heads-up in case you have business to take care of with Four County Electric in Burgaw. They announced that the Burgaw corporate office is going to be temporarily closed while they repave the parking lot. The work is scheduled to take place from Friday, August 7, through Monday, August 10, and because of the construction, members won’t be able to use the normal entrance during that time.
The office located at 1822 Highway 53 West in Burgaw will be closed while the work is being completed. If you need to make a payment, don’t panic. They said you can still pay using their other payment options or visit their Rose Hill or Elizabethtown offices in person.
I actually think this is one of those situations where a temporary inconvenience could be worth it in the long run. Nobody likes showing up somewhere only to find out it’s closed, but improving the parking lot should make it safer and easier for everyone once the work is finished. Hopefully the project stays on schedule and they can reopen without any delays.
If you’re planning on paying your bill or visiting the Burgaw office during those dates, you may want to make other arrangements ahead of time so you don’t waste a trip. It’s always better to know in advance than to show up and find the doors closed.
Has anyone else received this notice from Four County Electric? Do you normally pay online, or do you prefer going into the office? Let everyone know how this temporary closure will affect you.
