Okay, Derrick is officially a MESS in this Sims 2 longplay. 😂 I decided to play with fast cheats because sometimes I don’t feel like spending forever trying to build relationships, make money, keep everybody happy, and wait for everything to happen naturally. Sometimes I just want to get straight to the drama—and Derrick definitely gave me some drama.

So Derrick goes on vacation, and somehow this man ends up GETTING MARRIED while he’s there! You would think getting married would finally calm him down and make him settle into his new life. NOPE. Derrick is still Derrick.

This man is married and STILL CHEATING! 😂

That’s one thing I will always love about The Sims 2. You can start playing with one idea in your head, and before you know it, your Sims have turned the entire storyline upside down. I really thought Derrick getting married on vacation was going to be this cute little turning point in his life. Instead, it basically became another chapter in Derrick’s ongoing foolishness.

And honestly, I’m letting it happen because it makes the longplay more entertaining. I’m not trying to make everybody’s life perfect. I want the relationships, bad decisions, cheating, random marriages, arguments, and all the crazy stuff that makes The Sims 2 feel alive.

The fast cheats make it even better because I can move the story along without sitting around waiting forever. We can get to the relationships, vacations, houses, money, careers, and DRAMA much faster.

But Derrick? I don’t know if there is a cheat strong enough to make that man faithful. 😂

If you’re watching the longplay, tell me what you think: Should Derrick’s wife find out that he’s cheating, or should I let him keep getting away with it and see how messy this situation gets?

Because knowing The Sims 2, eventually somebody is going to get slapped. 😂
