Hey friends,
I want to speak directly to those of you who once called yourselves Christian but now find yourselves questioning—or even denying—God’s existence. I know this is a serious and sometimes uncomfortable topic. Please know, I’m coming from a place of love, not judgment. I write to you because I care about your soul, your joy, and your eternal purpose. But I also want to be honest about the spiritual reality you may be ignoring.
I understand doubt. Life is hard. Loss, pain, betrayal, and disappointment can make anyone question God. You may feel that faith doesn’t make sense, that it’s impractical, or even that it seems foolish. And I get it—sometimes our prayers feel like they’re hitting the ceiling with no one listening. Life’s storms can make the God we believed in feel distant, if He exists at all. But here’s the truth: just because you don’t believe doesn’t make disbelief the truth. Doubt is normal; rejection can feel like independence—but it does not make you right.
Jesus Christ came into this world for one reason: He loves you and wants the absolute best for your life. That love isn’t abstract; it’s personal. He doesn’t want to shame you, punish you, or make your life harder. He came to offer hope in the midst of pain, peace when life feels chaotic, and joy even in the moments that feel unbearably heavy. The love of Christ is not earned by being perfect—it is freely offered, even when we feel undeserving.

Let’s be real: if there is a God, then there is certainly a Devil. And the Devil is alive, still active, and still working to kill, steal, and destroy the blessings and purpose God has for you. The enemy is cunning; he uses doubt, pride, bitterness, and confusion to lure us away from the life God intended. When you step away from faith, even subtly, it can leave you vulnerable to his lies. Disbelief may feel like freedom, but it can also be a trap. The world may applaud skepticism as “wisdom,” but it often blinds us to the spiritual reality that surrounds us every single day.
I’m not here to condemn you. I’m here to invite you back. I’m here to remind you that God’s love is patient, unending, and stronger than any doubt, fear, or pain. He sees your heart, your struggles, your questions, and your fears—and He meets us exactly where we are. No matter how far you feel you’ve wandered, He is ready to guide you home. This is not about guilt or shame. It’s about truth, and it’s about love.

Sometimes reclaiming faith doesn’t happen in a single, dramatic moment. Often, it happens step by step, prayer by prayer, conversation by conversation. Even when your mind screams, “I don’t believe,” your heart may still sense a tug—a gentle invitation from God reminding you that there is more to life than what you can see or understand. That tug is God calling you back to experience life as it was always meant to be: full, joyful, and free from the chains that the enemy tries to wrap around your heart.
Think about the times in your life when you felt peace, joy, or hope—even briefly. Those were glimpses of God’s presence, moments where He gently reminded you that He has not abandoned you. Jesus longs for all of us to experience that consistently, not just occasionally. He doesn’t want you to settle for the fleeting, temporary pleasures the world offers. He wants you to know true, everlasting life.
And here’s something else I want you to remember: the Devil is real, and he’s not playing fair. The Bible tells us he prowls like a lion, seeking whom he may devour. He whispers lies into our hearts, distorts truth, and encourages us to believe that rejecting God is a mark of wisdom or independence. He wants us distracted, weary, cynical, and hopeless. But God’s Word is clear—when we turn to Christ, we gain power to resist the enemy, clarity to see his deception, and protection from his attacks. Walking away may feel like freedom, but freedom without God is empty, fleeting, and vulnerable to destruction.
To anyone reading this who’s struggling with faith: know that Jesus wants nothing but the best for you. The enemy wants to destroy you. The choice may feel yours, but God is always waiting with open arms, ready to remind you that His way brings true life, peace, and joy that the world cannot give. You may feel you’ve chosen disbelief, but God is still calling you back. He loves you unconditionally, even when your mind says “no.”
It’s okay to have questions. It’s okay to be confused. It’s okay to wrestle with faith. Even the greatest saints in the Bible did. But don’t mistake your doubts for ultimate truth. Jesus is real. He loves you. And He wants you back.
I encourage you to take a step today, even a small one: pray, read the Word, attend a service, or simply speak to a believer you trust. Open your heart again and allow God to gently lead you out of the darkness the enemy wants you to remain in. The world may tell you that disbelief equals wisdom, but the truth is found in Christ, and in Him alone.
Friends, the love of Jesus is stronger than every doubt, stronger than every lie the enemy whispers, and stronger than every moment of fear or despair you may experience. Don’t let your doubts silence the voice of God in your life. Don’t let the enemy convince you that disbelief is strength. Come back to Christ, and experience life as it was meant to be lived—free, abundant, and full of purpose.
Even if you feel far away, know that God is near. Even if you feel lost, know that Jesus is calling your name. The enemy may be relentless, but God’s love is relentless too—far stronger, far wiser, and far more powerful. Today is the day to turn your heart, to listen, and to let Jesus lead you home.
