You get snow crab, corn, and a potato all mixed up in this buttery, flavorful sauce that honestly reminded me of Crafty Crab back in the day when it was still in St. Petersburg. That same kick, that same smooth texture, that perfect mix of garlic, butter, and spice. You can tell they take pride in that sauce.

But here’s the real winner — when you order one pound of crab, you get a buy one get one free deal. Yup, you heard that right. For every pound you buy, they give you another one. I thought maybe it was a mistake at first, but no, that’s their deal. And it’s generous. The portion sizes are perfect, and they even pack it up in two sealed bags, tied and ready for pickup or delivery, which I thought was pretty professional.

Now, here’s where the frustration comes in. I ordered through Uber Eats, and when I went to check out, I nearly dropped my phone. They charged me $11 in taxes — and that’s not including the food price itself. You’ll save a good bit of money, and you’ll still get all that deliciousness without Uber Eats trying to nickel-and-dime you.

And that’s what frustrates me most — these apps make it sound like you’re getting a deal, but between “service fees,” “tax adjustments,” and who knows what else, you’re basically paying for a luxury meal when it should be a casual dinner.

So, in short, Sup Crab gets a big thumbs-up from me — great food, generous portions, and probably one of the best seafood boils around Pinellas Park right now. But Uber Eats? They need to chill with the hidden costs. Because at the end of the day, when a restaurant is doing everything right and still ends up looking expensive because of the app, that’s not fair to them or to us customers.
