I don’t care what political mess they’re caught up in — people are hungry! This food stamp nonsense is cruel, especially right before the holidays. All this back-and-forth over politics and power while families can’t even get food on their tables? That’s what’s really disgusting.

Every single year, they play the same game — push people to the edge, then act like they’re “helping” when they finally throw crumbs our way. Now they’re saying food stamps are going to restart, but we won’t be getting the full amount. Excuse me? After everything this country has been through — inflation, layoffs, rent going up you mean to tell me folks still gotta beg for their basic right to eat? This is ridiculous, and honestly, I’m tired of the hypocrisy.

Let’s call it what it is: they always find a way to cut from the poor when it’s time to cover up some political mess. And now we’re supposed to believe this whole “partial payment” situation isn’t connected to what’s going on with Trump and the Epstein files? Please. They waited until the holidays — the one time of year when families come together to pull this move. They always know how to hit people when they’re most vulnerable.

I don’t care if you’re Republican, Democrat, Independent, or alien from Mars — people need to eat. Period. It shouldn’t matter what kind of scandal’s going on in Washington. Hungry kids shouldn’t have to suffer because grown adults can’t keep their lies straight. The idea that millions of Americans might not get their full benefits just because someone wants to silence a scandal is sickening.

Let’s be real if this country truly cared about its citizens, food assistance wouldn’t even be a debate. We have enough resources to feed everyone several times over. But they’d rather let food rot in warehouses, or pour billions into political agendas, than make sure families have dinner tonight. Meanwhile, they tell us to “budget better.” Budget what? You can’t budget air. You can’t stretch nothing into something when the system keeps slicing away at what little you have left.

And can someone explain why everyone’s still so scared of Trump? It’s like people are walking on eggshells around him, afraid to say or do anything that might upset the so-called “base.” It’s embarrassing. The man’s not a god. He’s just another politician who played the system and now doesn’t want to face the consequences. And somehow we’re the ones paying for it? People can’t feed their kids because he wants to protect his image? No. That’s not leadership. That’s cowardice.

At the end of the day, it all comes down to one simple thing: feed the people. We don’t need fancy speeches, empty promises, or excuses about “policy delays.” We need food. Groceries. Essentials. Stability. The same politicians who throw banquets for donors need to remember there are single moms boiling noodles three nights a week just to make it stretch.

We shouldn’t have to scream every year just to survive. We shouldn’t have to choose between gas and groceries. And we definitely shouldn’t have to worry about whether political secrets will keep our food stamps frozen. Enough is enough.
