Trump just dropped another headline moment saying he wants NYC’s new mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani to succeed but warning that “Communism hasn’t worked for thousands of years.” 😬 Can y’all believe this? Susan breaks down the moment and why it’s stirring up political heat across New York.

Okay, so I just watched President Donald Trump’s segment on Special Report and y’all he’s at it again! 😅 He said he wants New York City’s new mayor-elect, Zohran Mamdani, to succeed… but then dropped a whole truth bomb about how “Communism hasn’t worked for thousands of years.” I can’t lie, that line had me laughing and shaking my head.
Look, I don’t care what side you’re on politically Trump has a way of saying things that make you stop and go, “Well, he’s not wrong.” The man can throw shade and make a point in the same breath. Now, Mamdani being mayor-elect is already stirring things up because, let’s be real, his policies are way left we’re talking socialism-level ideas about housing, income distribution, and community programs. Noble intentions? Maybe. But realistic? I’m not so sure.
Trump basically said what a lot of people are thinking: you can’t run a city like New York on idealism alone. This isn’t a college campus — it’s one of the most expensive, most chaotic cities in the country. People there want jobs, safety, affordable housing, and a functioning subway system not a political experiment in whether or not a socialist model can survive on Wall Street’s doorstep.
And when Trump said Communism hasn’t worked for thousands of years, I swear the man was referencing history like your high school teacher but with attitude. 😂 I mean, he’s not wrong. Every time a government tried to go that route, it ended up with shortages, censorship, or corruption. So if Mamdani’s ideas lean in that direction, New Yorkers might want to brace themselves for a “bad start” (as Trump put it).
Still, I’ll give Mamdani some credit. He’s young, passionate, and clearly wants to make a difference. The question is — can he actually handle New York’s pressure cooker politics? Because Trump might be clowning him a little, but deep down I think he’s sending a warning: “You’ve got big dreams, but reality hits harder than campaign slogans.”
Honestly, it’s kinda wild to see this mix of optimism and criticism from Trump. It’s like he’s saying, “I hope you do well, but you’re gonna have to learn the hard way.” And maybe that’s exactly what New York needs a wake-up call from both ends of the spectrum.
Anyway, I’ll be watching. Because if Mamdani can pull off even half of what he’s promising, it’ll be historic. But if not… well, Trump will be the first to say, “Told you so.” 🙄

We all know that Trump is confused… 🤣🤣🤣
