Incident 3/30/2026

I’m honestly sitting here trying to process what happened in Coquina Key and it just doesn’t sit right with me at all… 💔
An 18-year-old girl, Angelina Anderson, lost her life in a fire that police are saying was intentionally set. Like… let that sink in for a second. This wasn’t just some accident—this was someone making a choice that cost a young girl her life. And not just any life… people are saying she was caring, optimistic, and living with autism. That makes it hit even deeper because you know she had her own way of seeing the world, her own light. ✨
What really has me uneasy is the fact that the person responsible is STILL out there. It’s been over a week. A WEEK. And neighbors are literally saying they’re worried about their own families—and honestly, who wouldn’t be? 😟 Imagine knowing someone walked through your neighborhood, in all dark clothing, set a home on fire, and just disappeared. That’s terrifying.
And then there’s her sister… Ashley, 35 years old, who survived but was seriously injured and hospitalized. I saw that she’s in stable condition right now, thank God 🙏🏽 but still—this whole situation has affected an entire family forever.
I keep thinking about how something like this can happen anywhere. People always say “oh that’s rare” or “that wouldn’t happen here,” but clearly… it can. It DID. And now a family is grieving, a neighborhood is on edge, and someone who did this is just… out there.
Like how does someone even live with themselves after doing something like that? Knowing you took someone’s life? Knowing a family will never be the same again? 😞
I really hope law enforcement finds this person soon because justice NEEDS to be served. Not just for Angelina, but for everyone in that community who now has to live with fear and unanswered questions.
Prayers up for that family 🙏🏽💔 and I really hope people stay alert, stay safe, and look out for one another right now. This is just heartbreaking…

Reading what Rebecca posted and then seeing everything else going on… I’m not even gonna lie, this is starting to feel like a bigger pattern and it’s really concerning. 😟
Like it’s been getting BAD in these areas lately. Not just this situation in Coquina Key, but multiple incidents back-to-back, and it almost feels like there’s not enough urgency or pressure being put on fixing what’s going on. A whole week goes by and someone who literally set a home on fire is still out here?? That’s not normal. That’s not okay.
And I’m just gonna say what a lot of people are probably thinking but not saying out loud… is it just me, or does it seem like a lot of this is happening in certain areas more than others? 🤔 If I’m not mistaken, aren’t these areas where a lot of Black families live? I’m not trying to assume anything, but I am genuinely questioning what’s going on and why it feels like these communities don’t get the same level of urgency or protection. Because when things like this happen, it should be ALL HANDS ON DECK.
But then again… look at Treasure Island too. That situation where someone was out here acting completely reckless, injuring people while trying to outrun the police. Like what is really going on?? It’s like everywhere you turn there’s another situation involving danger, chaos, and innocent people getting hurt. 🚨
At some point, we have to start asking real questions about safety, response times, and how seriously these situations are being handled. Because families are out here just trying to live, and instead they’re worrying about fires, violence, and people not being caught.
This is bigger than one incident. It’s starting to feel like a trend, and that’s what makes it even more unsettling. People deserve to feel safe in their own homes, no matter where they live. Period. Just speaking my mind… because this is getting out of hand. 💔
