So we’re hearing that she turned in her badge and gun, and now she’s sitting at home while they figure out what to do next. And I’m just going to be real, it doesn’t even feel like she understands why what she did was wrong. That’s the part that really gets to me.

Because this isn’t just about losing a job or being pulled off duty. It’s about the mindset behind it. You don’t just wake up one day and talk like that out of nowhere. That comes from something deeper, something that’s been there. And if that hasn’t been addressed, then what really changed?

This whole situation honestly makes me sick. Not just because of one person, but because it keeps happening. Different faces, different places, same type of behavior. And people keep acting shocked every time like this isn’t still a real problem.

And yeah, I’m going to say it, Texas has a problem. Not just Texas either. There are multiple places across this country where this kind of mindset still exists, and people either ignore it, excuse it, or pretend it’s not as big as it really is. That’s why situations like this keep surfacing.

What’s frustrating is that we keep going in circles. Someone gets exposed, there’s outrage, there’s an investigation, and then eventually things quiet down. But the bigger issue never really gets addressed.

At some point, we have to stop acting like this is rare. It’s not rare. It’s just being recorded now. And until people really start confronting it for what it is, not just punishing one person, but addressing the mindset behind it—we’re going to keep seeing the same thing over and over again.
