I have a 2015 BMW 528i with a sunroof, and honestly, this AC issue is starting to drive me crazy. The strange thing is that the air is blowing just fine. The fan works, and it seems like everything is running normally, but the air just does not get cold. With the temperatures being as hot as they are, it’s making the car uncomfortable to drive, especially during the day.
I’ve taken really good care of this car, and overall it runs great. That’s why this issue is so frustrating. When something like this happens on a BMW, your mind automatically starts thinking about how much it’s going to cost to fix. 😩
I’m taking it to the BMW dealership to have them look at it, and I’m hoping it’s something simple and not a major repair. Maybe it’s low refrigerant, a sensor, the compressor, or something else that isn’t too expensive. I honestly have no idea at this point.
Has anyone else with a BMW 528i had this problem before? If so, what ended up being wrong with it? Was it a quick fix or did it turn into a costly repair? I’d love to hear your experiences because right now I’m hoping for the best and preparing for the worst. BMW repairs can be scary when you don’t know what’s causing the problem! Let me know what happened with yours.
