One thing about me is that I recognize who the devil is. That’s why I don’t get upset about what he does or whatever distractions he tries to throw my way with his devices. I have never been afraid to fight back. I trust God, and I believe in God. That’s why I know that even now, with everything going the way it’s going, God still got me.

The reason a lot of y’all get unsettled by what people do to you, what they say to you, and what they try to make you believe is because you don’t truly know who God is. God is all powerful, but just because He’s all powerful doesn’t mean we won’t ever be tested. This is something I’ve always known and realized.

It’s important for us to understand that just because we are followers of Christ doesn’t mean we have to be blind to the enemy’s devices. We know we will be tried. We know that when we fast and pray, things can start getting crazy. But we can trust and believe that the storm will only last for a moment. It won’t last always.

I keep myself encouraged by reading the Word and studying the Word for myself. I’m learning how to become a better Christian by doing what the Lord says. I want to make it easy for God to bless me instead of making it hard, because I know my actions can sometimes be the reason why I’m in certain situations whenever I’m out of line with God.

We have to stay steadfast. We should want to be the best we can be for God so we can become better people and do whatever it is He wants us to do to receive everlasting life. Because at the end of the day, that’s what really matters. Everlasting life is more important than fame, money, the biggest house, the best car, or even the perfect relationship.

It’s about having Jesus. It’s about having Him, not the worldly things.
