I’m sorry but this Ebola news is seriously terrifying me right now. The U.S. is literally restricting travel because of the outbreak in Congo, Uganda, and South Sudan, and people are acting way too calm about this. Am I the only one sitting here feeling like the world keeps getting closer and closer to another disaster? Because this does NOT feel normal. 😰
Ever since everything that happened a few years ago with global outbreaks and lockdowns, I pay attention when governments start making travel restrictions. That’s when you know something is serious behind the scenes. They don’t just wake up one day and start refusing entry over nothing. 🚨

And what scares me the most is how fast diseases spread now. People travel nonstop. Airports are packed every single day. One infected person can end up around hundreds or even thousands of people before symptoms even show up. That’s the part people keep ignoring. By the time the public fully understands what’s happening, it could already be everywhere. 🌎✈️
I know some people are going to say I’m “panicking,” but honestly maybe more people SHOULD panic a little instead of brushing everything off until it’s too late. Every time something serious happens, people laugh, joke, make memes, and then months later everybody’s sitting at home wondering how things got so bad. 😒
What also frustrates me is that I don’t fully trust what we’re told anymore. The news never tells the full story upfront. Social media hides certain conversations, people argue over politics instead of safety, and regular people are left confused trying to figure out what’s real. Meanwhile another dangerous outbreak is happening and somehow we’re all supposed to just continue life like nothing’s wrong? 🤦🏽♀️
Ebola is not something small to play with. This isn’t just a cold. People DIE from this. Horribly. The thought of something like this spreading more globally honestly makes my stomach turn. I have family. Kids are in schools. People are out here working around crowds every day trying to survive. This stuff affects REAL PEOPLE.
I pray this gets contained fast because if it doesn’t, I honestly feel like the world is heading toward another nightmare situation… and I don’t think people are mentally prepared for it at all. 💔🦠
