As you guys know, this Nolan Wells case has gotten some really mega attention from social media and the news. And this is because people are still trying to figure out what happened to Nolan Wells.
Now, here’s the thing. At this point, people are saying that investigators are saying that it doesn’t look like there’s any foul play at all. It just looks like it was just something that was an accident, maybe a drowning. But then again, there were so many different things we’re hearing from different people, like him being bruised, beaten, which of course, we can’t just go on those because they’re not facts.
We’re hearing from people who actually said they saw this boy’s body being disrespected in transport, and also talking about situations with drugs that were on the boat. We want to know why the young men had pretty much gotten rid of their social media accounts when there could have been ways around that to keep their accounts safe without necessarily having to delete the whole account or whatever they were saying, scrubbing the account.
As I said before, there was a lot of talk, and a lot of these things are not factual. So we have to make sure that we go through this piece by piece. That’s the only fair way to look at a case like this because once rumors get started online, they can spread faster than the truth.
But the question is, did the family actually get the justice that they deserve, or are they going to get the justice they deserve? We do know that the funeral will be on Monday. But many people are looking at this as people are saying that Nolan’s case will only end up being ruled as something that was not sketchy. So, I don’t know.
They’re saying that they believe this was just a normal occurrence, but we have not heard from the autopsy reports yet. That’s what everybody’s looking for. Until those official findings are released, I think a lot of people are going to continue asking questions.
I think it’s kind of strange that they’re ruling this out so quickly. It just seems like to me that the answers that many people want, they’re not getting. Maybe investigators have information that hasn’t been released publicly, and maybe they don’t. But from the outside looking in, it feels like there are still a lot of unanswered questions.
At the same time, I think it’s important that we don’t take every rumor on social media as fact. People are posting all kinds of stories, but unless investigators or the family confirm something, we have to be careful not to present speculation as the truth.
It’s very well possible that they may not ever get these answers. But truly something happened, and people need to know exactly what that is. More than anything, I continue to pray for Nolan Wells’ family because regardless of what the final investigation concludes, they deserve clear answers about what happened to their loved one.
