I have to be honest about something. I respect Don Lemon for covering the Nolan Wells case because it’s one of the biggest stories people are paying attention to right now. As a journalist, I understand why he wants to stay on top of it, and I appreciate anyone who is trying to help bring attention to what happened.

But at the same time, I think there comes a point where enough is enough if there aren’t any new facts to report.

Lately, it feels like every time I turn around, there’s another discussion about the Nolan Wells case, but it’s the same information we’ve already heard. I’m not saying Don Lemon is doing a bad job. That’s not what I’m saying at all. What I’m saying is that if there isn’t anything new, then why keep bringing everyone back just to repeat the same points over and over again?

It almost feels like the goal is to keep the story in the YouTube algorithm because everyone knows people are searching for Nolan Wells. I understand creators have to get views, and I know YouTube rewards channels that stay active. That’s part of the business.

But if you’re saying you’re covering Nolan’s case, then let it truly be about Nolan and the facts. When new evidence comes out, when investigators release new information, or when something important actually happens, then absolutely go live and tell us about it.

Until then, it starts feeling repetitive. Most of us following this case can already see the same posts and discussions online ourselves. We don’t need to hear the exact same information repeated every five or ten minutes just because another live stream starts.

That’s one thing I have always respected about journalists like Nancy Grace. When there is a real development, she brings it to the audience. When there isn’t, she doesn’t spend hours recycling the same information just to fill time.

We all want justice for Nolan Wells. We all want the truth. That’s why we’re still paying attention. But constantly repeating the same conversations without any new facts doesn’t move the case forward. It doesn’t answer questions, and it doesn’t get us any closer to the truth.

I’d much rather wait for meaningful updates than sit through another discussion that’s saying the same thing we’ve already heard. Real journalism isn’t about how often you talk about a story. It’s about bringing people information that actually matters.
